Terradat GetLaserScanning.com will be showcasing their newest work on BBC’s Countryfile.
On the night of 10th March 1945, 70 German prisoners tunnelled to freedom from the infamous Camp 198 in Bridgend, South Wales. It was the biggest escape attempt made by German P.O.W.s in Great Britain during the Second World War.
TerraDat used a combination of geophysics and 3D laser scanning to locate and survey the tunnel and found it to be in perfect condition almost 70 years later. See how we got on 27th January at 7pm http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01qgmym
